These services are provided to all who are eligible and appropriate for outpatient care. Referrals are accepted from the individuals interested in services and from third parties. The Counseling Center at MOC serves people of all ages, backgrounds, and types of needs. Examples for some of the types of conditions we regularly treat include:

Services are designed and implemented to support the recovery, health, and well-being of people and/or their families; enhance quality of life; reduce symptoms and needs; build resilience; restore or improve functioning; and support any applicable integrations back into the community. Each person will have at least one clinician responsible for the coordination of their treatment, which is guided by agreed upon goals. Some examples of the types of treatment we offer include:

ADULT ART

THERAPY GROUP

An expressive art therapy group for adults ages 18+. This group is held in-person two times per month, on Mondays.

Joint Pain

ADULT SOMATIC THERAPY GROUP

Discover the emotional roots of pain and illness. This group will help you understand how stress and trauma are stored in the body and learn how to transform physical and emotional pain. This group is held weekly on Tuesdays via Zoom.

SUPPORT GROUP

For women ages 30+ to encourage self-growth and acceptance. This group will provide support for woman managing anxiety and depression.

THERAPY GROUP

This is an expressive art therapy
group for teens ages 14-18. This
group will be offered in-person on
a rotating basis (8-week series).
A group topic and focus will be
assigned for each 8-week series.

A safety and well-being support group for women with a history of trauma and addiction.
